The 2024 Oklahoma Environmental Education Expo will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Oklahoma City Zoo.
The 2024 Oklahoma Environmental Education Expo will focus on how we can use our natural resources wisely to ensure there are resources for future generations. Conservation Education is a lifetime learning process that promotes the understanding of natural resources and ecosystems – their interrelationships, conservation, use, management and value – conservation education is an effective, dynamic means for connecting people with their environment.
Our Keynote Speaker is Dr. Rebecca Snyder, Senior Director of Conservation, Education, and Science for the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanic Garden. Dr. Snyder will share what the Zoo is doing to grow diverse conservation and research initiatives.
We will also have a variety of hands-on and lecture style breakout presentations.
